What a disappointment for the Fourth of July. Rain, Rain and more rain. We had plans for a country fair, carnival rides and a fireworks display. We skipped the country fair, went to the carnival in the rain and the fireworks were cancelled. Bummer. On the plus side- there weren't any lines for the rides! As long as you didn't mind getting wet.
They closed down the carnival at 9PM because of the rain and we headed home. We made it home just as our own neighborhood was starting a fireworks display. It's so convenient- it's right at the top of our street. At least the kids got to see some fireworks and the day wasn't a complete wash!
