Dog Days of Summer....

I've always thought that the best part of summer was the lightning bugs. Nothing says relaxation like sitting in the back yard catching bugs and suffocating them in a coffee can. When I was a kid we used to rip the lights off the bugs and put them on our fingers like a ring. So, naturally, I spent some time this evening teaching Allie how to neuter a bug!

JoJo was so tuckered out by the end of the day that he walked into his room and pointed to his bed and said "I sleepy". Not gonna argue with that one!
