Is running with scissors really that big a deal? Putting aside one's eminent danger of impaling oneself or perhaps losing an eye- I don't see what all the hub-bub is about.
Besides- I can't remember anything that exciting as a child that I had to run over to cut. What could be so feaking amazing to cut in half that I couldn't just walk over to it and cut it? Crap- as an adult I can think of maybe one or two things that I'd like to cut in half- but none so much that I feel I need to run to the table to begin.
